Every year, the NHGA Golf Tournament is made possible by several key things. Players... Sponsors... Organizers... Volunteers... Etc... But, even if everything else came together to make the annual tournament possible, it would still be impossible to do without a hearty group of people that give their time and efforts - our volunteers.
The volunteers of the NHGA Golf Tournament, truly make the Tournament itself possible. They have stood in the rain for hours on end, helping make sure that everybody is flowing through the course. They make sure that the hole contests keep moving. They make sure that everybody gets registered and checked in promptly. They do sooooo many things, there will never be enough space to list them all. In the end, our volunteers make it possible for the Tournament to raise money for our charities.
Every year, we have people who return to this role because they are simply that giving. But, each year, we also need new volunteers to help. If you, or somebody that you know would be interested in volunteering to help with the tournament, PLEASE let us know.

2006 saw a change of colors from Silver and Black to Red and Gold. We had four very special Gold Rush Cheerleaders join us for our Banquet and raffle. A HUGE thanks goes out to them for not only making our 2006 raffle the most successful one we've ever had, but also for putting up with a LOT of Niner-ettes comment. They did it with an amazing amount of poise. It's likely they found a whole new set of fans.

There is another group of special volunteers that, after the the 2005 Tournament, have been helping us for five years now - Footballs Fabulous Females! Yes, the Oakland Raiderettes! A special thanks goes out to Karen Kovac, Director of the Raiderettes, for working with us to allow several of the Raiderettes to help us. The Raiderettes graciously donate their time to charity events such as ours and I'm not sure we'll ever be able to thank them enough! They add a wonderfully different dimension to the day and all we can say is THANKS!
